I think the government should have strict laws about police shootings and police brutality because some police officer use their authority to take their anger out at the victim.

Freedom of Speech

In Canada we are allowed to speak or say anything that will not offend a persona particular group. You could speak your mind as long as it does not offend any particular group, a person, a religion or a race.

We live in a country that is developed and has laws that the police make the public follow. Freedom of speech is also in our constution of rights and freedom. As long as you are in Canada you cannot say that could offend any particular group based on their race, colour, sex, culture or religion, you also can't show through your actions any hatred against any race, culture, religion, sex or colour. There will be strict actions against that person who shows any hatred against a particular group such as the persons religion, culture etc.

I am glad to living in a country that takes any kind of discrimination very seriously based on sex, race, culture, religion or any thing that will offend a particular person.

Bullying

In Canada many children and teens are scared or are afraid to go to school because they get bullied at school. School is suppose to be a institution that children go to learn not get in fights or get bullied.

Emily Goldin is one of those students that get bullied at school and she gets called names like fat, ugly, whore, slut at school. No one should be scared to go to school and learn. Everybody has the right to go to school and learn. There should be programs and groups that students can join to help them with this issue of bulling. There should also be more harsher punishment for those who bully other students. Students like Emily Goldin have to go through a lot of pain and suffering everyday because of some students who think it is cool or funny to bully others, who are smarter than them. Even though Emily told her school officials about her problem. They did not take a step to stop the students from bullying her because her parents were huge dollar supporters of the school. There should be a case against the school for not taking a step against the students bullying Emily Goldin.

To reduce bulling in schools they should start groups or programs that students could go to and open up and tell them the problems they are having. The schools should also give more harsher punishment to those who bully for example the students should get suspended for a longer period of time.

Wilhelm

Although the Gabirelle Roy's mom and other people may think it was not a good decision to fall for a man who is immigrant, it is her life she could do anything that she would like to do.


Even though Gabrille Roy is not an adult yet she could do anything she wants such as be with Wilhelm because that is her life and no one else has the right to do anything even her mother because Roy is mature enough to understand what is going on and what she wants to do with her life or who sahe wants to be with. I think it was wrong of her mother to make Roy stop seeing Wilhelm, try not to hyave them communicate with each other just because he was from another country Roy's mother had also called him names such as the "hollander". I think the mother should have just stayed out of it and let Roy decide what she wants to do, let Roy follow her heart because may be she really liked this guy and she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him, maybe he was the one she could have married and settled her life with him.

Overall i think it was wrong of the mother to interfere with her daughter's life and she should have just left it instead of making Roy not see Wilhelm and trying to cut all the communications with Wilhelm

Obctcles that people my age may face that were not present 20-30 years ago?

I think some obstacles that people my age may face that were not present 20-30 years would be more peer pressure and as we live our lives longer their are more drugs in this world, so i think the number one problem would be that their are more drugs on the streets than their were back 20-30 years ago. Peer pressure is also big problem these days because some people my age are really immature and 10-20% follow the wrong path such as trying or taking drugs . They don't understand that this could screw up their whole life because if they are on drugs they might not be able to study are have as much as time to do their education and pass with good grades.

Some other obstacles that people my age may face that were not present 20-30 years ago could be that now days their is too much technology and most people my age have access to at least a computer with Internet at home or at school, on the Internet their are is a lot of good sites to look at but their are also a lot of unapporite thing on the Internet too. Today practically you could go on google and learn how to make a bomb with house hold supplies such as bleach. Also people my age today have a lot more free time than my parents had . Today we can wash colths and dishes in the laundary machine and dishwasher, but 20-30 years ago no one had these things they had to do that by hand.

As we go along in life their will be alot of good technology that will help us in life, but their are always going to be people wanting to make easy money and craete new kinds of drugs and try to ruin the peace on this earth
